Today is opening day at Barnacle Billy’s, Original. It’s a little cool as I write this morning, at 9:00 AM. However, there is no wind, the sun is out, air temperatures should be in the 40°’s and a hot lobster and cold rum punch on the deck overlooking Perkins Cove might be the solution to cure those winter blues and usher in the new summer! Last month I ended up visiting a local seafood place on a chilly afternoon, and we decided to sit outside, wrapped in blankets. As I sipped my hot clam chowder, the sun peeked through the clouds, and I could almost imagine summer approaching.
